Group Activity Designer

Group activity: build a model of the water cycle, Grade 6, groups of 4. Goal: show evaporation, condensation, and precipitation working together. Roles: Facilitator (keeps time and order), Materials Manager (gets and returns supplies), Recorder (writes the labels and explanation), Presenter (explains to the class). Steps: 5 min — plan the model and assign parts of the cycle; 15 min — build using the provided materials; 10 min — label each stage and write a two-sentence explanation; 5 min per group — present. Materials: paper, markers, clear cups, plastic wrap, a small amount of water. Output: a labeled model plus a short written explanation. Assessment: each role has a visible job, and you check the recorder notes and ask one question to a random member so everyone stays accountable.
